SO, WHAT IS SMD ALL ABOUT?

Founded in 2017 by owners Olivia and Keeley with the idea of helping others stand out by blending the theory and strategy behind branding and the expertise of interior design to create physical brand experiences on a whole new level.

WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT FROM OTHER DESIGNERS?

Our designs go beyond just looks, we go deeper into understanding what it is that makes you different and ensure everyone can see that in your branding. We make decisions based on strategy to create brands that resonate with you audience.

WE GOT YOUR QUOTE BUT IT SEEMS HIGHER THAN OTHER DESIGNERS?

Our work is highly customised and backed by a lot of research and strategy. We aim to make you stand out from the crowd and not be just another pretty face.

WHAT IS A PROJECT STRATEGY AND DO I REALLY NEED ONE?

Your project strategy is like a roadmap to success! It will uncover your brand story, your values, and why people should choose you over others. It allows you to have confidence in knowing that you are moving your business in the right direction.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU OFFER? DO YOU HAVE PACKAGES?

We are a one stop for all things branding from your logo, fonts, colours, websites, print, packaging and digital. We have some standard packages, depending on your needs we can bundle up services most important to you and your businesses.

CAN WE STILL WORK TOGETHER IF I LIVE IN A DIFFERENT CITY OR STATE?

We sure can! We have worked with people all around Australia and even all the way to the US. As long as you have access to email or a phone we are good to go, we can even arrange a meeting over Skype so it’s like we are pretty much there with you (thanks technology!).

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PROJECT RUNS OVER THE PROPOSED TIMELINE?

At the beginning of each project, we outline key dates and when you can expect your assets and when we will need feedback from you. Should any unforeseen issues arise we will discuss them as and when.

HOW MANY ROUNDS OF REFINEMENTS DO YOU INCLUDE?

We typically include three rounds of refinements for each design asset. Refinements outside of this will be assessed individually and large refinements may incur an additional fee.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept both electronic bank transfers and payments (by card) via PayPal, if you choose to pay via PayPal does incur a small additional processing fee.
